About us
Pendulum Shipmanagement Inc was registered in 1992 as a Liberian company.
Initially its main activity had been the chartering services to shipping companies.
The company started its trading by signing contracts with two of the world's biggest sugar traders, to undertake the carriage of bulk sugar from West Coast Central America to Mediterranean Sea and Europe.
In the year 2000 the company in addition to trading, established a branch office in Greece under law 89/67, expanding its activities into shipmanagement and shipowning.
The group's main advantage is considered to be its highly professional and cost effective management capabilities resulting in very low running cost without compromising on safety, maintenance and operational performance.
Pendulum presently manages three vessels namely M/V Spring Breeze, M/T Tradewind and M/V Princessa V.
The main goal of the company is to increase the number of vessels with emphasis placed in vessels between 25-40,000 mts dwt, well-geared, high specification bulk carriers.
The group does not plan a rapid expansion but is more willing to proceed with sure and steady steps which shall be taken after careful study of the freight market and the quality of vessels to be purchased.
The management company has been accredited with the ISO 9002 code from Lloyd's.
